CIVIC IMPACT
Summer Program
Below is a tentative schedule for the main program. Changes may be made based on funding, student interest, venue availability, or other logistical necessities.
Class days
Students will attend 4 hours of their core class daily divided into
Cherry Red: First rotation core class
Turquoise: Second rotation core class
Additionally, 1 hour each afternoon will be dedicated to speech or debate
Evening Activities
The evenings feature a variety of enriching activities, including:
Expert faculty lectures
Interactive workshops
Simulations
Dialogues
Student clubs meetings
Preparatory Program
For students requiring additional preparation or adjustment to the time zone, a preparatory program is available. This program accommodates:
Up to 30 students
Students traveling from outside the continental United States
Students seeking an early start to the program
Students who would benefit from lessons in:
U.S. history and government
Academic writing and research skills
Dates
Preparatory program: June 24 to June 28
Main program: June 29 to July 20
Location
We plan to host the program at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
If this venue is unattainable, we will explore other D.C. area venues.

Class rotations and evening activities will help students meet more participants.
DC will be a fun and educational place to have the program.
I love the idea of the expert lectures. I wanted to learn from the other professors and not just mine.
I enjoyed my experience and 2025 is going to be an improvement to the program!
